EXPERT TALK IN THE TEGEL ROOM
Digital marketing in the energy sector: Who‘s impressing the customers and where is it all heading?

The digitisation of client relations by technology companies such as Amazon, Apple and Netflix has fundamentally changed what customers expect in terms of early interaction. Now energy providers must also live up to these expectations if they are to compete effectively for (private) customers. Against this background we plan to present live examples of digitisation being used in the energy sector and to discuss with industry experts some of the issues arising, including:

  • How can energy providers impress and excite their customers by way of digital interaction?
  • What kind of new solutions for digital energy marketing have already been introduced by the (digital) market leaders?
  • What do energy providers have on the agenda for the ongoing development of digital marketing?
  • What are the main challenges for implementation?
  • WHow can these be successfully addressed?

WORKSHOP IN THE TEGEL ROOM
Digitisation in the energy industry – scaling ideas and realising the benefits
In recent years energy companies have come up with all kinds of ideas on how digitisation should be used and many of these have already been tried out – true to the motto: ‘accept to fail’. After having made substantial investments in some areas it is now time to focus, to generate value and to achieve sustainable success. For many companies this constitutes a real challenge.
