Webtalk: Navigating interdependencies: how can we manage energy markets in transition?

Recording 17 November 2023

The world’s energy markets are at a crucial turning point. We are in a global transition phase in which different countries and interest groups are realigning their energy strategies. Although each nation has its own needs and interests, there is a common thread: Decarbonisation. However, the path to this goal, as well as the alignment and interdependencies of each market, are very different.

Join us for an insightful discussion with leading experts from the energy industry, academia and politics as we explore the specifics of this global energy supply transformation. How will markets evolve.

In this WebTalk, we will address critical issues in the energy markets and review the effective transition management strategies that enable smooth change in the energy sector.  We will take a look at the concept of ‚green industry‘ and the emphasis on sustainability practices in the industrial sector. We also look at how to reduce dependence on volatile energy markets and how to ensure stability in the face of market volatility. And, to gain a broader perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing the industry, we look at the geopolitical factors influencing global energy markets.
