Janssen is one of the world’s leading research-based pharmaceutical companies and part of the global healthcare company Johnson & Johnson.

Founded in Belgium in 1953 by Dr. Paul Janssen, Janssen is also present in Germany since 1959. The German headquarters are located in Neuss, North Rhine-Westphalia. In Germany, the company ranks among the top 3 research-based pharmaceutical companies and has almost 1,000 employees. Janssen invests around 22 million euros a day worldwide in the research and development of new drugs. 18 of the company’s active ingredients are on the WHO list of essential drugs. In 2018, around 4.6 million people in Germany were treated with Janssen products.

In the past two years, McKinsey has successfully implemented more than 100 e-health projects worldwide and supported major healthcare systems in their holistic e-health transformation.

The platform enables coordination of capacities and end to end encrypted data transfer between all actors. Using the same technology, recare also integrates public health insurances for transfer of patient data and claims.
