Alexander Ghazvinian is currently the Chief Compliance Officer APM Terminals at Maersk Company in Den Haag, The Netherlands. He is experienced in designing and implementing Ethics & Compliance programs focusing on value-driven organizations, anti-bribery compliance, competition law, export compliance as well as data protection. This includes risk management, business partner management, training (company-wide web-based and in-person training programs) and communication as well as third-party due diligence. Further experience in whistleblower hotlines and related investigations as well as compliance reviews. He has special experience and knowledge for “FCPA” and “UK Bribery Act” compliance related topics. In the last 9 years Alexander Ghazvinian has worked as a Compliance Officer in several industries (automotive wholesale and retail; engineering and construction, financial service, logistics) and regions (e.g. EMEA, Russia, Japan, China). He was previously member of the Compliance leadership team at Daimler AG/Germany and acted as Director Ethics & Compliance for the EMEAR Region of Terex Corp, a US-based company. He is also an adjunct professor for Ethics & Compliance and has published articles in several magazines.
